Will You Love the New & Improved Navigating the Storms?

If you’ve been following this site, you’ve already seen some Navigating the Storms changes in the looks. I hope these and future changes will help you navigate your storms easier.

Technology changes!

That’s good and bad! This time, the change forced me to make major changes in the looks of Navigating the Storms.laptop, tablet, cell phone

As technology changes, so do developers and their products. This facelift became necessary as the developer of my theme quit offering his product! Only a few months ago, I had done a major makeover involving styles and colors. Now, I’m forced to change again! However, there is an upside to that: I like these new colors better. I’m also streamlining the looks. More changes coming in the next few weeks. Leave a comment and let me know how you like (or don’t like) the changes.

Changing focus

As this site has evolved over the last two years, I see the approach has changed. The focus remains people living with invisible disabilities, and how they can survive and thrive. Having lived forty years with my challenges, I have lots of ideas to offer. However, I don’t have that much time (read energy and strength for time) to write. So, I scour other people’s sites for good ideas. Then I link to them for you, so you don’t have to do the research. From time to time, I’ll still write original material. For now, though, I’ll concentrate on writing posts and finding the good info others have written and present it here for you. (I always give credit to the other writers. I will never steal their hard work.)

Changes to pages

I have added one new page, finances, and have plans to add more as additional information warrants. New stories appear on Our Stories and Re-Purposed Lives to encourage, enlighten, and strengthen you. Perhaps they might motivate you to see new things you can do. I will be adding more stories in the future.

Joining the social media age

After writing this site for two years, I finally joined Twitter. You can follow me on Twitter and Facebook and with notices from Navigating the Storms. These choices are in the sidebar.

Future plansblank weekly calendar page

I have future plans that I hope will make this site attractive and — especially — helpful to you. I’m planning more quizzes, for fun and for information. I am planning on finding more stories and more information to make your navigation easier and more enjoyable. Of course, I will keep writing more posts and looking for helpful guest posts.

In conclusion

Keep checking back as I add new pages and information in the next few months. If you have links you think would help others, please use the contact page. If you’d like to write for this site, please also use the contact form.
