See How Many Kinds Of Pets You Can Find!

Aren’t animals fun?

Maybe they are specially trained service animals helping you function better.

Or possibly, they bring you comfort.

On the other hand, maybe they are just plain fun.

NOTE:

This is not my intended fun activity for this month. I had wanted us to be able to share pictures of our pets. To that end, I thought I had the correct app installed. However, I discovered I did not. So I looked for one on the web and thought I found one and installed it. But it did not work either – at least not yet. So I am substituting this word search puzzle where you can see how many names of pets you can find. Hopefully, maybe next month, we will be able to share photos and information about your pet(s).

Now, on to the fun. See if you can find the word on the right in the puzzle. Use your mouse to drag through the letters to form the word. If you get stuck, you can click on a word and then on the Reveal button to see where it is. When you’re finished, just click on the Solution button. Or if you’re like me, and too impatient to wait, you can click on it early. Be warned, though, you can’t go back; once you’ve clicked on Solution, you’re stuck with it. However, you can refresh the page and start over.

Pencil and paper version

If you would rather do this word search with a pencil and paper, you can download a two-page PDF.  The first page is the puzzle to work; the second contains the solution. Click on WordSearch Pets, then check your downloads folder for it.

  1. What a fun idea! My favorite ‘pets’ are hummingbirds ;). I don’t keep them, but I do feed them all summer (15-25 who live in the area in the summer) and enjoy hundreds who migrate through in the fall! My favorite for reals per would be a German Shepherd dog.

    • I love hummingbirds! When I had more strength, I kept a feeder where I could see them. They’re fascinating. I collect ceramic hummers.
