Smile. Laugh. Cry. Why do I say that about these cartoons which our friend Vicki Novinsky spent hours drawing? If you have any invisible disability, you will smile at some, laugh at others, and even cry at some. Cry you ask? Because we are too familiar with these feelings.

Yes, this is a different type of guest post. But I think you will enjoy these. Vicki suffers from various invisible disabilities and is able to present her story in graphics form. They certainly do express many of our feelings in a humorous way. All cartoons are ©Vicki Novinsky.
Enjoy as you read. And head on over to Vicki’s website, miss diagnoses.

I loved her cartoons when I first saw them. I hope she is able to continue drawing them.
It’s so great that you re-posted some of Vicki’s cartoons. In this world we need to laugh or a smile a little more, and Vicki knows how to do that while, at the same time, communicating some serious real-world issues that the chronically ill deal with daily.
I thought she was spot-on with her observations. She can “say” more with her humor than we can often say with many words. And get you to laugh too.
