This has been one crazy, busy week—well, two weeks. We were preparing for our sad/happy trip when we had a major plumbing problem. Unable to get it fixed before we left, we suffered three days with no water (except for a couple minutes at a time, 2-3 times a day).
Then we left for our planned trip. Using our son’s house as our base, we traveled to honor my youngest brother, John, on his college graduation. The happy event. Laughter. The next night, we attended the Celebration of Life for John’s wife, Lynn. A sad time. Some tears.
Following that, we returned to our son’s. Next up is my family’s reunion. It has grown from just us four siblings and some of our kids to include an uncle and cousins I haven’t seen in decades! A very happy time.
After that, we will stay at our son’s until a plumber can come, then return home!
Due to the above activities, I am obviously unable to write a post. The next two weeks, I will have guest posts and then return to my normal schedule.
